Markus Balan salesman Horconex Germany and Austria

Markus Balan has been working in the horticultural sector for over 25 years. First as a grower and the last 10 years as a climate advisor for a supplier of climate screens. “I enjoy looking for the best solution for the customer, working out the plans and achieving the goals together. From July 2021 I took on a new challenge at HORCONEX as Sales Manager Germany and Austria. I am really looking forward to this step within this dynamic company that is known for its reliability and good quality!', says Markus.

Extend of focus

With the appointment of Markus Balan, HORCONEX is implementing the new strategy whereby Germany and Austria will be added as home markets to the existing home markets of France and Switzerland.
‘As HORCONEX, we have been regularly approached by growers from Germany and Austria who are interested in our greenhouses, screen installations and climate solutions. With the appointment of Markus, we are even better able to intensively guide customers throughout the entire process from plan to realisation," says Vincent Kuijvenhoven, commercial director at HORCONEX.

A well-established company in the greenhouse horticulture for 35 years

HORCONEX has been active in greenhouse horticulture since 1986 with a strong focus on France and Switzerland. Second and third generation customers choose to continue the long-term cooperation with HORCONEX in these countries.

Within HORCONEX, specialist departments for greenhouse construction, screening and heating are working on the realization of new horticultural projects on a daily basis.
